Drums Along The Columbia, July 6th, 2009, 7pm, Edgar Brown Stadium, Pasco, WA. Southridge Music Boosters is proud to be a participating sponsor for the 2009 Drums Along The Coumbia show in Pasco, WA. This year's DATC is in fact the only DCI show in the state of WA. Participating this year are Santa Clara Vanguard, The Blue Knights, The Troopers, The Cascades and The Oregon Crusaders. With Word Class Corps participating, people from all over the northwest will be attending this show and it is sure to sell out. As a participating sponsor, the Southridge Music Boosters have a limited number of General Admission and Reserved Seating tickets available for purchase. Please email Tom Zarate or call 521-4175 to purchase tickets. GA tickets are only $12 in advance, while reserved seating is $18 in advance. If you would like reserved seating, please act now as we have less than 20 tickets left.

Congratulations to Kayla Schierman for winning an outstanding solo award at the 2009 CBC Jazz Unlimited Festival with the Southridge Wind Ensemble.
Columbia Basin Marching Festival - The SHS Marching Band and Color Guard placed 2nd in the AAA Division at the 2008 Columbia Basin Marching Festival in Royal City, WA, October 18, 2008. The color guard won the Best Color Guard caption award.
Parents...are you interested in becoming more informed and just being more involved with your child's music education. Please join us at our next SHS music boosters board meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd, 6:30pm, at the SHS Library. We have volunteer positions open at this time. If you would like to help out in any way, please contact any of the music boosters.
