Solo and Ensemble -The 2009 Columbia Basin Solo and Ensemble is Friday, March 20th, at Kamiakin High School.

Congratulations to the following individuals and ensembles for placing in the Regional Solo and Ensemble competition on Friday, March 19th: Division Winners: Mallets - Orma Ravindranath, Euphonium/Baritone - Esteban Zarate, Large String Ensemble - SHS String Ensemble, Viola - Mackenzie Minton-Valley, Bass - Max VonderMehden, Tenor - Drake Haren, Mixed Vocal (large) - Golden Voices.

Also, congratulations to the following Alternates: Viola - Katie Chase - 2nd Alternate, Violin - Aaron Clark - 2nd Alternate, Mezzo Soprano - Amicherie Decoursey - 2nd Alternate, Piano - Katie Chase - 2nd Alternate, French Horn - Justin Siegel - 1st Alternate.
